Only a Military Coup Can Save the U.S. Now

Everything is in place to end democracy in america

Suggesting that the United States military should overthrow a legally elected president is radical talk that would have been unthinkable a decade ago. It is the stuff of a third-world country… of an undemocratic nation… what is otherwise unthinkable. But these are desperate times.

The combination of Trump’s unqualified and destructive cabinet appointees, the thin Republican majority in Congress that supports every insane directive from Trump or Musk, and a Supreme Court that has given the president unlimited power has created a dangerous situation.

Trump’s Cabinet of Fools

The U.S. Congress has approved an unqualified cabinet of sycophants who have pledged to destroy the very same institutions they were appointed to administer.

Kash Patel — Director of the FBI — is eager to enact revenge on anyone and everyone who supported the investigations of Trump’s illegal actions. He has boasted about turning the Edgar J. Hoover FBI Building into “a museum of the deep state.” A “deep state” is what Elon Musk is currently poised to assemble after he destroys every legitimate bureaucratic institution in our nation. Patel has also repeatedly threatened members the media for truthfully reporting the lawlessness of the Trump administration.

Tulsi Gabbard — Director of National Intelligence — has long been considered to be a Russian pawn. She has consistently defended dictators like Vladimir Putin and Bashar al-Assad — the former leader of Syria who used chemical warfare on his own citizens. She has been called “a comrade” and a “girlfriend” on Russian state television and “our friend” and “some sort of Russian agent” by pro-Putin propagandist Vladimir Soloviev. Given her sketchy reputation, our former allies will be hesitant to share any intelligence material that affects our national security, expecting that any content provided to Gabbard will be immediately supplied to Putin and other dictators.

Pete Hegseth — Secretary of Defense — is pledging to fire any high ranking member of the military that he or President Trump considers to be “woke.” By purging the military of leadership that is loyal to the U.S. Constitution and replacing it with lackeys who will do all of Trump’s bidding is the last step in consolidating Trump’s dictatorship. Directives to invade Canada, Greenland, Gaza, and the Panama Canal will likely be carried out. Younger men need to get ready for the draft to be reinstated. Since Hegseth thinks women are unsuitable for combat, it is unlikely that females will be called to serve.

Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans have THE will to stop Trump’s fascist coup.

Democrats Are Hopeless and Useless.

The Democratic Party has proven its ineffectiveness to do a damn thing to stop this move to fascism. Aside from a few vocal opponents to Trump like Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Chris Murphy of Connecticut, and Jasmine Crockett of Texas, most Democrats are wringing their hands on the sidelines of the apocalypse. Democrats fear that any protests against Trump will result in the declaration of martial law or being physically attacked by the January 6th thugs who were pardoned by Donald Trump. 

The Republican Party is totally complicit in the fall of America.

Every currently-elected Republican Senator and Congressperson will go down in history as an enabler to the fall of democracy in the United States. They smile and nod as they vote to approve every crazy cabinet nomination. They are effectively negating the very role that our Founding Founders delegated to them — being a check on executive power. Elected Republicans fear the wrath of Trump and of being primaried out of office. And, like the Democrats, they fear violence toward themselves and their families from January 6 rioters.

The Republican Party had Trump’s entire first term to Article 25 his ass out of office or support either of his impeachments. When they should have acted as patriots, they behaved selfishly.

Mitch McConnell deserves to rot in Hell!

Next to Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell holds the most blame. McConnell pushed through the appointment of two ultra-Conservative justices when he pressured Republican Senators to refuse to consider Obama’s appointment of Merrick Garland after the unexpected passing of Justice Antonin Scalia. McConnell justified this lack of action because Barack Obama had slightly less than a year left in his term of office. Then, in a reverse situation, McConnell pushed through the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett only six weeks before the 2020 election after the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. McConnell demonstrated his blatant hypocrisy.

There are no other options.

Since there will be no help coming from Congress or the Supreme Court — what our Founding Fathers anointed as co-equal branches of our government — the only solution for saving our nation from the fascist coup it is currently experiencing is if the Joint Chiefs of Staff immediately descend upon the White House to forcibly remove Donald Trump from office.

They need to act fast, as Hegseth has already complied a list of generals and admirals to fire. This purge of military leaders who are loyal to the U.S. Constitution will leave only Trump lackeys who are willing to enact any unconstitutional order that comes from the president.

Life in the United States will get really ugly, really fast.

Expect military invasions and takeovers of what were once friendly countries like Canada and Greenland/Denmark, along with a “Manifest Destiny” exploitation of any “useful” territories like the Panama Canal and Gaza.

Expect a military loyal to President Trump to be used to round up immigrants on the streets and in schools and churches.

Expect Trump’s military and the emboldened paramilitary groups loyal to him to attack citizen protests — peaceful or not.

This is a national emergency!

There is no one else to help save us from Donald Trump and the oligarchy of tech bros. Our political parties have given up, and Trump thus controls Congress. The Supreme Court is his tool, having given him permission to do as he pleases by determining that a sitting president is above the law — like a king.

We have alienated all of our former friends and allies, who are terrified of what we have become since Trump’s second inauguration.

Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and George W. Bush remain silent in our time of need.

Only the United States military is left to save America.
